The Karnali River, Nepal’s longest river, offers an unparalleled fishing adventure amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Himalayas. Flowing 507 km from the Tibetan Plateau to the Sharda River in India, the Karnali River is a haven for diverse aquatic life, including Himalayan dolphins, turtles, and the prized mahseer fish. This 14-day expedition combines the thrill of rafting, the serenity of fishing, and the joy of camping, allowing participants to explore the rich flora and fauna of Nepal’s wilderness. The river’s current and width make it ideal for rafting, while its pristine beaches and secluded spots provide perfect settings for fishing.

 

Schedule Details

Day 01: Pick up from airport and dive to Kathmandu hotel.

Welcome to Nepal! Upon your arrival, our representative will greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transport you to the finest hotel at Thamel. After some rest at the hotel, you’ll join our team meet-up in the office. During this program, you will meet and greet with your guide. In the evening, you can stroll around the main tourist area of Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive or Fly to Surkhet towards Karnali river and camp.

Today, after finishing your breakfast you will head towards Karnali river from Kohalpur and camp there. It is 81 km from Kohalpur to Karnali bridge.Or We fly direct Surkhet after finishing your breakfast you will  head toward Karnali.

Day 03: Rafting, fishing and camping at night.

Today, your day starts with Rafting and fishing. You will then set up camp in the evening while you enjoy the fish that you caught.

Day 04: Fishing and camping at night.

We will fish and camp in the evening.

Day 05: Raft towards Jungle Ghat and Camp there.

You will enjoy the rafting to Jungle Ghat where we will be camping for the night.

Day 06: Fishing at Scorpion beach.

After having breakfast we will walk towards the beautiful beach called scorpion beach where we will spend the day fishing.

Day 07: Raft down to God house.

From the scorpion beach we will raft down towards the God’s house. After reaching the god’s house we will be busy fishing and rafting the whole day. The night will be at tented camp.

Day 08: Raft down to Seti Karnali and Camping for night.

Today we will raft towards beautiful Seti Karnali which a river is formed by mixing Seti river and Karnali.

Day 09: Camp and fishing.

Today we will camp and fish at Seti Karnali river.

Day 10: Raft down to Thuli Ghat and camping and fishing.

Today, we will raft towards Thuli Ghat and fish there. At the end of the day we will rest in a tent.

Day 11: Rato Bhale gaun camping and fishing.

Today we will move towards Rato Bhale gaun where we will camp and start fishing.

Day 12: Raft to Ghatu Gaun near Bheri camping and fishing.

We will raft towards Ghatu Gaun enjoying the surroundings and start fishing and camp there.

Day 13: Trek to Chisapani and drive back to Nepaljung and fly to Kathmandu

Today, we will trek to Chisapani and from there catch our flight to Kathmandu.

Day 14: Final departure to sweet home.

Final departure to sweet home. Time for goodbye! This is your final day with us. Depending on your flight scheduled time, our representative will see you off to the airport. We wish you a safe journey and hope to see you soon!
